Legendary prankster and famous standup to come to town this winter

Simon Brodkin and Sean Walsh are set to perform in Wiltshire's county town later this winter.

Brodkin, best known for his character Lee Nelson and for showering ex-FIFA president Sepp Blatter with money, will join Walsh at Trowbridge's Civic Centre on December 14 for a night of stand up.

The pair will also be joined by Eva Bindeman, a BBC New Comedy Award nominee. The event is being hosted by Trowbridge Comedy Club, and will be orchestrated by resident host Tom Glover.

Sharing information about the event on the Civic Centre's Facebook page, a spokesperson for the club said: "Closing the show is the legendary Simon Brodkin -- the world-famous prankster turned stand-up superstar, known for his bold comedy, sharp punchlines, and unforgettable moments on Live at the Apollo and beyond.

"He'll be joined by the brilliantly funny Seann Walsh, whose energetic storytelling and quick wit have made him one of the UK's most loved comics.

"Rising star Eva Bindeman brings her fresh, relatable humour to the stage, and your host for the evening, the always-entertaining Tom Glover, will keep the laughter rolling from start to finish."

Tickets for the event can be purchased on the Civic Centre's website.
