Purdue Football Finds Their Wide Receiver Coach Within

Purdue didn't have to turn over many stones to find their next wide receiver coach.

Enter Bilal Marshall, the Purdue Alumni and a young coach that is considered a star on the rise.

Last week, Purdue relieved Lamar Conard of his duties at running back. Long time assistant to Barry Odom, Cornell Ford is expected to move to running backs, a position he is much more familiar with than the wide receiver group he coached this season.

Ford had never coached wide receivers until arrived at Purdue.

With the dismissal of Conard, it was an easy move and Purdue stayed within their staff, hiring Bilal Marshall.

Marshall played at Purdue from 2013 to 2016 before quickly getting involved in coaching. He has coached wide receivers at VMI and WVU.
