Korea responded almost immediately through Kim Yujin's penalty corner strike, but India restored its two-goal cushion when Lalremsiami turned inside the circle and slotted the ball past the goalkeeper to make it 3-1.

Yujin narrowed the gap once again with her second penalty corner goal in the 53rd minute, keeping Korea in contention. However, India sealed the contest in the final minute as Rutuja converted from a penalty corner to complete the 4-2 win.

India will next face hosts China on Thursday, followed by Japan on Saturday in their final Super 4s match.
