At MonDak Ag Days, March 7, 10 a.m. at the Richland County Event Center, Sidney, MT. Wade Webster will be sharing his knowledge on mold in soybeans. Webster is an assistant professor and soybean pathology specialist at NDSU and will discuss the biology of the pathogen, Sclerotinia sclerotiorum, also known as white mold, and how the disease development occurs. Farmers in our area are especially at risk of infestation due to irrigation. Webster will share different management strategies for combating white mold such as cultural practices and the use of available fungicides.
