It won't be a trick but a treat as we head into the month of November

HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Good Thursday evening everyone! After a clear day, some passing clouds overnight tonight with a surface trough that will slide through the area. Winds will become light this evening as surface high pressure fills in from the north. Not as cold tonight with lows in the upper 20s to mid 30s. A upper level wave will quickly push through on Friday. I am not expecting any precipitation with this disturbance. However, clouds will quickly fill in as we head through the day with partly to mostly cloudy skies by the afternoon. Winds will be breezy out of the northwest with the passage of this upper level wave. We could see wind gusts to 30 mph in the afternoon. It will be a cooler day tomorrow as cooler air filters on in. Look for highs from the mid 40s north to the mid 50s south. For trick-or treating in the evening, temperatures will dip down into the 40s, and for some, even into the 30s. No other weather concerns are expected as winds lighten up into the evening. Skies will clear up as winds become light Friday night. This will allow for a chilly start on Saturday. Expect lows from around 20° in the west to the mid 30s in the east. Saturday will be the coolest day over the next 7 days. There will be some early morning clouds day. By the afternoon it will be mainly sunny with a light breeze. High temperatures on Saturday will be in the mid 40s north to lower 50s.

After a chilly start to the month of November, the rest of the first week will feature above average temperatures and dry conditions. Daily highs next week in the upper 50s to upper 60s.
