Vicky Pattison has said she is 'devastated' as she spoke out on her co-star's unexpected exit from Strictly Come Dancing.
The reality star and presenter took to social media on Wednesday (October 22) to addresses the sad news that Stefan Dennis can no longer compete in the BBC One dance contest this year.
The Neighbours legend's journey on the hit dance show got off to a solid start alongside his professional dance partner, reigning champion Dianne Buswell.
But Stefan was recently struck by illness, which forced them to miss week three of the BBC One dance contest earlier this month, before they made a triumphant return to the ballroom on Saturday (October 18) night.
The pair were seen giving it their all during a Charleston to Dance Monkey by Tones And I, which many judges said was the pair's best dance.
However, it was then confirmed on Monday (October 20) that their time on the show had come to a sudden end after a 'devastated' Stefan was forced to pull out of the series after injuring his calf during his comeback routine.
In a statement, the actor, famed for playing Paul Robinson in Australian soap Neighbours, said: "This morning I woke up to the most disappointing day of my time in my Strictly journey.
"Just when I had finally gained the confidence to do well with my dancing in the competition and achieve more great dances along the way, I was told that on Saturday I had torn my calf so significantly that I am now forced to withdraw from the show.
"I can't tell you how devastated I am to have to leave so prematurely especially as there has been, and still is, so much love and support from everyone for both Dianne and myself."
Now, Vicky has shared her sadness at Stefan's Strictly exit, after they were both revealed to be part of this year's line-up at the same time on This Morning back in August.
"My first strictly friend..." Vicky began an Instagram post featuring a number of pictures of herself and Stefan, as well as Dianne.
She continued: "@stefandennis7 you wonderful man.. I am absolutely gutted for you! Getting to know you these last few months has been an absolute pleasure and watching you on that dance floor has been a joy.
"I am devastated your journey has been cut short and I know you had so much more to give! You and @diannebuswell were magic together.
"I know your goal was to be able to learn to dance so you could treat your gorgeous wife @gail_dennis_ to a little turn around the dance floor and I think we can all safely say you've got more than that in your locker pet!!! Love you and we're all going to miss you."
As Dianne responded with a string of red heart emojis, Vicky replied: "Sending you love lass! What a strong, talented and inspiring women you are! Sorry that your journey was cut short too! I loved watching you guys dance!"
