Samsung confirmed Exynos 2600 for the Galaxy S26 series

Samsung Galaxy S26 series is now confirmed to be powered by the in-house Exynos 2600 chipset; however, the Ultra variant will be equipped Snapdragon chip globally.

Samsung will launch the Galaxy S26 series next year in March 2026; however, the official launch timeline has yet to be announced. The lineup will include at least three models, which are as follows -

Today, at the Q3 2025 earnings call, Samsung confirmed that it will use its latest Exynos 2600 chipset to power the Galaxy S26 models at least in selected regions. However, it hasn't revealed whether all three models will be equipped in-house chip or only base models.

A few days back, it was reported that Samsung could also power the Galaxy S26 Ultra with the Exynos 2600 chipset; however, that is not the case anymore, as a new report denied the previous claims.

A tipster, @OreXda, shared a post on X, claiming that the Galaxy S26 Ultra will be based on Qualcomm's Snapdragon chipset globally. He stated, "S26 Ultra is not Exynos."

It will be interesting to see what will happen next, whether the company will once again adopt a dual-chip strategy for the Galaxy S26 series.
