In fact, as much vile hatred as Seattle fans spewed Springer's way in Games 3 through 5 at T-Mobile Park - including cheering when he left Game 5 due to a knee injury - there is no love lost for the Jays leadoff man in Los Angeles.

Springer, of course, had probably the greatest moments of his career against the Dodgers, banging five home runs in the 2017 World Series, a performance that had him named MVP for the Fall Classic.

And after that thing of beauty three-run homer in the seventh inning of Monday's Game 7 of the ALCS to send the Jays to the World Series, his legend not only continues to grow it takes him to another showdown with the very Dodgers that gave him his career highlight

Also growing, almost certainly, will be his reputation as a villain in certain cities with Los Angeles remaining at the top of that list.
