Senate Majority Leader John Thune on Thursday criticized the chamber's system to approve nominees, which usually requires a 60-vote threshold, calling it a "broken process." Meanwhile, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said his party was holding up the votes due to what he called "historically bad nominees."
