During the post-2025 WWE Elimination Chamber media scrum, Triple H discussed two-night pay-per-view events, which will not become a regular thing. He said,
"I'm not doing two-night pay-per-views once a month. That's just too much... Look, stadium shows, when we have events that can be in stadium shows, Elimination Chamber is historically not a stadium show, and here we are tonight, right? We're on a hell of a run right now.
"So, when we can do the biggest business we can do, there's just some moments where you feel like this is going to be big, this needs to be bigger than the arena. That said, not everything can be here. Not every episode or PLE can be here, right? If you do, they're just not special."
In 2020, WWE introduced a second night to WrestleMania so that the number of talent and crew would be kept to a minimum during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Even after fans were welcomed back in full, WWE has kept the two-night format for their biggest event of the year, which has been welcomed by fans.
This year, WWE will host its first two-night SummerSlam and have confirmed the same format for the 2026 pay-per-view event.
