URBANA -- An Urbana man has died after being involved in a car crash on New Year's Day.
Champaign County Coroner Laurie Brauer announced that Michael Perkins, 62, was pronounced dead at Carle Foundation Hospital at 10:30 a.m. Sunday.
An autopsy was performed Monday and the death is being investigated by the Champaign County Coroner's office and the Champaign County Sheriff's Office.
