They're doing so through their annual Team Hope Walk at Zorinsky Lake on Sunday.Huntington's Disease (HD) causes the breakdown of nerve cells in the brain. HD deteriorates a person's physical and mental abilities and has no cure. Many describe the symptoms of HD as a combination of ALS, Parkinson's and Alzheimer's. The Team Hope Walk raises funds to provide resources for families affected by the disease, in addition to funding research programs and counselors.
