Former Stapleford restaurant to be auctioned for £200,000 - Nottinghamshire Live

A former bistro and restaurant in Nottinghamshire is set to be auctioned later this month.

The Stapleford property, previously known as the Sanctuary Bistro and Coffee House on Toton Lane, has been listed by SDL Property Auctions and is set to be auctioned off on December 17.

The two-storey building was home to a 60-seat restaurant and a hairdresser's, and has been advertised as a space for a 'range of potential new uses', subject to planning permission.

The site has been listed with a guide price of £200,000.

Auctioneers have projected that the property could generate a letting income of £24,000 per year.

The property features a fully equipped commercial kitchen, a front-of-house counter, and space for approximately 50 to 60 people.

The upstairs section of the site is a self-contained studio that has been advertised as a space for businesses such as hairdressers, offices or consultancy rooms.

Andrew Parker, partner and auctioneer at SDL Property Auctions, said: "The property had always been a really popular venue and not only is it a great investment opportunity, but it would be brilliant to see it gain a new lease of life so that it can be an asset to Stapleford once again.

"Stapleford is an up-and-coming small town in a great location between Nottingham and Derby, and with a good mix of national and independent retailers.

"The town recently received a £21m injection of Government regeneration funding which has been a real boost to the community."
