COLUMBIA, Tenn. (WSMV) - One person is dead and two others are injured after a shooting in a Columbia neighborhood.
Columbia Police Department Investigations Division Captain Brian Adams said they responded to Somerset Lane for reports of a shooting at around 3:07 p.m. on Saturday.
On scene, police found three victims. One victim, identified as John Biddle, died from his injuries. Two others were injured, with one of them in critical condition at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Adams said.

One person is in custody. Adams said police believe there are no other suspects involved in the shooting.
Officials will be at the scene for an extended period of time as the investigation continues.
Community members are being asked to avoid the area.
