Tyler Bradley scored 15 points, Benicio Morelli had 14 and Justin Matthews sank the game-winning basket with 10.4 seconds left as Averill Park edged Schenectady 49-47 Friday in a Suburban Council boys' basketball game. The teams were tied at 12 after one quarter, with Averill Park taking a 29-28 halftime lead before the Patriots drew even at 36 after three. Matthews finished with 10 points. Andre Jackson sparked Schenectady with 23 points and Noah Spivey added 10.
Nate Oliver went 4 for 4 from the line in the fourth quarter to help Guilderland hold off Saratoga Springs 55-50. Oliver paced the Dutchmen with 17 points, Jayden Henderson had 11 and Tyler Witazek had 10. Josh Simon and Tasiah La'Nor both had 10 points for Saratoga.
Sincere Allah struck for 19 points, and Devon Jonas and JaSeem Kane both contributed 13 to carry Albany past Columbia 71-65. Evan Rainville's 29 points were best for Columbia, Patrick Ayotte delivered 19 and Jabari Holder had 12. Rainville was perfect on 12 free throws.
FOOTHILLS COUNCIL
Hudson Falls got the jump on Scotia-Glenville with runs of 18-8 and 23-14 in the first two frames and went on to post a 73-48 win. Brady Smith topped the Tigers with 22 points, Jaymison Eisenhardt scored 13 points, Nathan Gonyea had 12, and Jayden Hardwick and Cam Barber both came away with 10. Evan Frederick and Dylan Cruz had 13 and 10 points, respectively, for the Tartans.
Landon Casey's buzzer-beating basket - his second basket of the game - gave South Glens Falls a 54-53 win over Queensbury. Ryan Fitzsimmons had 16 points, Brock Killian had 12 and Liam Brennan 11 for the Bulldogs. Queensbury got 20 points from Troy Jorgensen, 16 from Mark Huffaker and 10 out of Marcus Gooden. Queensbury closed the contest with a 16-4 spurt when Jorgensen and Huffaker both had six points.

Sei'Mir Roberson piled up 37 points including six 3s, and Catholic Central defeated Schalmont 75-44. Alexander Horning scored 17 points for the Sabres.

Stillwater got 12 points from Rocco Schaeller and 10 out of Tye Morris in a 51-36 win over Hoosic Valley. Stillwater outscored Hoosic Valley 24-12 in the middle quarters when Morris had seven points and Schaeller had six.

Nick Novak collected 21 points, six rebounds, five steals and three assists for Maple Hill in a 62-55 win at Coxsackie-Athens.
