Investigation launched after reports of man exposing himself near town centre - Manchester Evening News

An investigation has been launched after reports of a man exposing himself near to a town centre.

Police were called on August 13 to reports of the man on St Michael's Way in Middlewich, exposing himself to people at around midday.

A suspect was later arrested on suspicion of exposure and taken into custody to be questioned. He has now been released on bail, Cheshire Constabulary said.

Officers are now appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident who has not already spoken to police to come forward amid ongoing investigations.

Police Constable Dominic Owen of Cheshire Police said: "We have been conducting a number of enquiries since this incident took place however we are now asking anyone who recalls witnessing this, or anything suspicious around that time and location, to please get in touch with us.

"You can report information through our website, or by calling 101, quoting 25000668597.

"The same goes if anyone reviews CCTV or dashcam footage and locates anything relevant to our investigation."
