A 'The Daily Show' correspondent is coming to Alabama

Josh Johnson is the newest correspondent on "The Daily Show," but he was already a rising comedy talent.

Johnson began writing for the popular Comedy Central news satire show in 2018. He previously wrote for and appeared on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon."

On Sept. 28, Johnson's latest standup comedy tour comes to Alabama, when the Louisiana native headlines at Levity Live in Huntsville. The 4 p.m. show has already sold out.

However tickets are for sale on secondary market sites including Vivid Seats and StubHub. No word yet if additional shows in Huntsville will be added.

In addition to late night show work, Johnson voiced the character of Harry Buns on Disney Network animated series "Kiff."

He's also done standup comedy specials, including 2021's "#(Hashtag)" on Comedy Central and 2023's "Up Here Killing Myself" on streaming service Peacock.
