An Arkansas Tech University employee has been arrested and charged with the use of child sexual abuse material or possession of child pornography, according to a statement issued by the university on Saturday.
Marty DuVall, a Department of Public Safety officer at the school, will remain on administrative leave during the Arkansas State Police investigation, the statement said.
State police initially notified the university of an investigation into the public safety officer on Thursday, and DuVall was "immediately suspended," the university said.
"Due to the ongoing nature of the investigation, ATU cannot offer any further comment on this matter at this time," according to the statement.
