You might know him for songs like "Buy Me a Boat" or "Fix a Drink," he's also a platinum-selling country artist and a member of the Grand Ole Opry, and now Chris Janson has a brand-new album.
Chris Janson talked with "Live In The D" host Tati Amare about the album titled Wild Horses, which features 15 songs, including "Me & A Beer."
The country star revealed that this is by far his favorite album that he's made in his career. Janson said he hopes that what listeners take away from this project is a good vibe and a lot of fun.
"Music is supposed to be fun. It's supposed to make you feel good, make you enjoy life, and I think that we have nailed it with this record," Janson said.
The 39-year-old is currently bringing some of his new songs to the stage on his summer tour.
"There's a little bit of rock, there's a little bit of roll, there's a whole lot of soul that fits right in Detroit," Janson said.
In addition to writing music that he performs, Janson has also written songs for artists like Tim McGraw and Hank Williams, Jr.
