With only hours to go before Meghan Markle's hotly anticipated Netflix series, many will be wondering why its release date was delayed.
Originally, the programme was set for a January release but this was changed at the last minute because of unforeseen circumstances.

The new series will premiere on Tuesday, March 4 on Netflix. Typically, the streaming giant releases new shows at 8am in the UK.
The programme was originally meant to air on January 15, but this was changed because of circumstances that affected its production.
According to the Daily Express, the show was delayed because of the devastating wildfires that ravaged Los Angeles in California.
The fire apparently encroached on The Duchess and her family, forcing production to halt for a time.

Meghan Markle took to social media to share the news that her show was being delayed.
She told fans on Instagram: "I'm thankful to my partners at Netflix for supporting me in delaying the launch, as we focus on the needs of those impacted by the wildfires in my home state of California."
