The Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs will write another chapter in their rivalry on Sunday when they face off in Buffalo. The loser of this game could end up not winning their division, which would, of course, impact the AFC playoff standings.

In terms of injuries, the Bills will be without one of their wide receivers. Joshua Palmer has been ruled out of Week 9, per Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic.

"Bills HC Sean McDermott said on WGR-AM DT DaQuan Jones, WR Joshua Palmer and LB Shaq Thompson are OUT vs. the Chiefs this weekend," Buscaglia reports.

Shaq Thompson and DaQuan Jones being out certainly hurts the defense, as well, as Thompson has been one of their most consistent defenders this season. The Chiefs have consistently played well against the Bills defense, so not having two of their top defensive players on the field will certainly hurt.

In terms of Palmer, he hasn't been what Buffalo has hoped this year, but the threat of him going deep not being there will play into the Chiefs' hand defensively, as they can condense in the shallow portion of the field and put the pressure on the likes of Keon Coleman and Elijah Moore to make a play.
