Imphal, Oct 22 (UNI) Ningol Chakkouba, one of the most significant festivals of Manipur, will be celebrated tomorrow with great enthusiasm.
Imphal, Oct 22 (UNI) Thuingaleng Muivah, general secretary of Isak-Muivah faction of the National Socialist Council of Nagaland (NSCN-IM) will address a public meeting at Ukhrul district today, marking his first visit to his home state in five decades.
Muivah is arriving from Dimapur and is scheduled to reach his home at Somdal for the first time since joining the Naga movement 50 years ago. His earlier requests to visit Manipur were turned down by the Manipur government citing security and political reasons.
