EastEnders fans 'threaten to riot' after spotting tragic death clue

EastEnders enthusiasts are on the edge of their seats as they fear a beloved character from Albert Square may be doomed. In the episode aired on Thursday (February 12), there was a cheerful atmosphere at The Queen Vic for Billy Mitchell's (Perry Fenwick) stag party, with spirits lifted further by a video message from West Ham's Jarrod Bowen.

But when Martin Fowler (James Bye) walked into the pub not wearing yellow like everyone else, fans felt a sense of foreboding. Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) and the Mitchells teased Martin with the crossed-arm 'Hammer Irons' gesture, which he eventually reciprocated before they all conga-lined out of the bar.

However, some sharp viewers think this could spell bad news for Martin, especially with next week promising disaster as The Queen Vic catches fire, and not all characters are expected to survive. As the drama unfolds and residents rush to rescue one another, whispers suggest Martin might be among those who don't make it, according to Plymouth Live.

On social media, one anxious EastEnders fan shared their unease: "I can't help but feeling that shot of Martin coming into the Vic is important.. I'm worried he's going to die next week #EastEnders."

Another viewer threatened to revolt: "If he does, I'm rioting", while yet another posted with apprehension: "I hope not ...", followed by a broken heart emoji, reports the Manchester Evening News.

One fan shared their concern on social media, saying: "I will be so upset if Martin and Stacey get back together then he gets killed off.. it will remind me of Mick/Linda when they were just about to be together again and now Mick is gone.."

The prospect of such a twist in the storyline also sparked a strong reaction from other viewers, with one writing: "If Martin Fowler gets killed off I'm gonna throw hands #Eastenders". Another fan echoed this sentiment, stating: "If Martin dies in the #EastEnders 40th anniversary i will storm the BBC."
