Mason O'Brien went 2-for-3 with a double, an RBI and two runs for the Eagles (15-8), who will host Salem County rival Woodstown, the sixth seed, in the quarterfinals.
Petrutz was the winning pitcher for Pennsville, which also clinched the Tri-County Conference Classic Division title with the victory.
Andrew May homered and scored both runs for Salem (7-13).
