CALIFORNIA -- The California Lady Pintos remained atop the Tri-County Conference standings Thursday night with a 62-51 victory against the Boonville Lady Pirates.

California senior Hailey Rademan scored her 1,000th career point in the first quarter, knocking down a 3-pointer from the right wing in the final minute of the first quarter to push the Lady Pintos' lead to 13-9.

California started the game on a 10-1 run, then Boonville answered with eight straight points.

The Lady Pintos widened their lead to 29-20 at halftime, then made a trio of 3s in the third quarter to push their lead to double figures.

Boonville trailed 44-37 after three quarters and cut its deficit to 48-44 with 5:08 to play, but that's as close as the Lady Pirates would get.

Kierstyn Lawson made 6-of-8 free throws in the final two minutes to help California stretch the final margin back to 11 points. Lawson led the Lady Pintos with 18 points, while Rademan had nine points and a team-high 12 rebounds.

Bella Imhoff had a game-high 20 points for Boonville (13-9, 3-1 Tri-County). Effie Morris also reached double figures with 11 points.

California (15-8, 3-0), which is receiving votes in the Class 4 state rankings, hosts School of the Osage (9-13, 3-0) on Monday for Senior Night. The winner will take sole possession of first place in the conference.
