The Los Angeles Angels are coming off their worst season in franchise history, going 63-99 in 2024. They promised a busy offseason, but thus far haven't delivered -- the most recent big-league free-agent signing came Nov. 27. The rival Los Angeles Dodgers just won a World Series, powered by the two-way superstar the Angels let go for nothing.
It doesn't require a survey to understand that fan sentiments are possibly at an all-time low in Anaheim. But we're going to do one anyway, because it's important to see the trend lines on key questions facing the franchise. Has confidence waned or gained for the organization's key brokers? Which players do fans think will make future cornerstones?
Angels fans might be mad, but one thing they are not is quiet. The frustration this offseason has been palpable. And this forum can serve as a way to express whatever emotion you might feel toward your favorite ballclub.
This is our fourth season doing a fan survey. Only 771 people participated in 2022, and there were 1,956 respondents in 2023 and 1,979 last year.
