Luka Dončić stared down the Mavericks bench after draining a deep Lakers 3-pointer

Los Angeles Lakers superstar guard Luka Dončić stared down the Dallas Mavericks bench after drilling a deep 3-pointer early in Tuesday night's game in Los Angeles.

After the Mavericks shockingly traded Dončić to the Lakers earlier this month, the guard's first game against Dallas was always going to be an emotional one.

After knocking down an impressive 3-pointer from downtown in the first quarter, Dončić made sure he stared down the Mavs bench, probably to remind the franchise of who it traded away.

Want to talk about drama? This was thrilling... and probably made Dallas fans even more sick over the trade.

However, what's done is done. Dončić will now try to bring another championship to Los Angeles, and the Mavs will move on without him.

At least for Tuesday night, Dončić capitalized on a prime opportunity to show up the team that stunned the world by trading him away.
