Public records show at airports in Milwaukee and the Chicago area, there have been multiple "near mid-air collisions" and other "close calls" in recent years.
A section of the Black Horse Pike remains closed in both directions following a motor vehicle crash in the West Atlantic City section of Egg Harbor Township, police said Saturday.
According to an advisory on the EHT police's Facebook page, "the road is impassable due to a pole being down in the roadway. Access into, and out of Atlantic City will not be possible via the Black (Horse) Pike, until Atlantic City Electric can remove and restore the pole."

The accident happened at about 3:40 a.m. Saturday near the Ramada Inn, police said.
Police advised drivers to use alternate routes in and out of Atlantic City.
"We do not have an estimated time for when the road will re-open. ... We will update this post when the road is re-opened," the advisory said. "Thank you for your patience!"
