Netflix on Thursday released the trailer for Part 2 of Wednesday's second season, answering one of our biggest questions from Part 1 -- while giving us quite a few more to ponder while we wait for the show to return on Sept. 3.
For starters, no, Wednesday didn't die after being thrown from the window of the insane asylum. She does, however, spend enough time in limbo to pick up a familiar spirit guide in the form of the late Principal Weems (Gwendoline Christie, a sight for sore eyes).
Wednesday will need all the spiritual guidance she can get in Part 2, with Tyler now on the loose, she and Enid -- not to mention the entire Addams Family -- are in danger.
"We established that a Hyde can't really live without a master, so what does that mean?" showrunner Alfred Gough recently teased to TVLine. "Now you have this unhinged monster out in the world, and what's that going to be?"
And is that Lady Gaga we hear offering Wednesday a chilling warning at the end of the trailer? Netflix previously revealed that the pop star would have a surprising role in the show's second season, though no specific details about her character have been officially confirmed.
Wednesday's Season 2 cast includes Jenna Ortega as the titular Addams, Hunter Doohan as Tyler, Emma Myers as Enid, Joy Sunday as Bianca, Georgie Farmer as Ajax, Moosa Mostafa as Eugene, Steve Buscemi as Principal Dort, Isaac Ordonez as Pugsley, Billie Piper as Professor Capri, Noah B. Taylor as Bruno, Evie Templeton as Agnes, Luis Guzmán as Gomez and Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia.
